I think the most important thing about watching our actions is that they are unconscious. It isn’t an action, it’s a mind control that we use to control our actions.

Conscious actions are also difficult to monitor. They require some thought or a lot of attention. You can tell youve been watching your actions by the fact that you are now thinking about them. The problem is that you can forget about it so easily.
