I am proud to introduce a new project that I created for myself a couple of years ago. The idea was to create an audio file that would trigger an internal state of awareness. I wanted it to be similar to a meditation, where a person’s mind would be open to ideas and possibilities that are beyond their current thought processes.
To be clear, this is not the same as the “deep meditation” I mentioned earlier–although I do think it’s a very similar thing. Instead of focusing on the idea, I wanted to encourage people to think about something more abstract. We can’t “think about” the idea of “consciousness”, at least not in the sense that we can “think” about the idea of “consciousness.
This is actually a very interesting idea because it’s something that has been explored in a number of different ways over the years. Meditation, for example, is a technique that can be used to focus your thoughts on something that’s outside of your current thought processes. It’s essentially letting the mind relax and the mind wander. It can also be used to focus on a particular idea or thought.
As you can probably tell, I’m not a massive fan of a lot of meditation techniques. I prefer a much more active approach to meditation, which is basically anything that has to do with physical movement. Also, meditation is a technique that can get fairly specific, which is what I was doing with threshold audio. The idea is to take a break from your day-to-day routine and think about just how you feel during your day.
It’s a technique I’ve used myself quite a bit. I find it really helpful not to stress about everything, but to just focus on feelings. I can take a deep breath and then just focus on my feelings, whether it’s physical, emotional, or even my mind.
This idea of focusing on our feelings may seem rather self-indulgent, but I find it a very calming technique. I like to do it at the end of a day. I like to come back to it at the end of my commute home. I like to do it when I’m having stressful conversations, but I also like to do it when I’m really stressed out. It really helps to clear my head.
I think most of us are aware that our feelings are often our main focus. But what many of us want to know is how to change that focus. I’m not talking about changing the way we talk or the way we interact with others. I’m talking about changing the way we feel.
In my experience, most of us cannot help changing how we feel whether we consciously know it or not. But I think the key to it is to know the difference between being aware and being aware of something. You don’t get to change your brain’s way of thinking through your awareness. It’s only when you make it your own that you can begin to change how you feel.
In the age of social media and the rise of “smart” phones, we are losing touch with the feelings we once had that made us feel, well, who we are. The result is that we are becoming more like everyone else, which is both a good and bad thing, but is it really that bad? I think it’s the loss of a connection with our own feelings that makes us so much more “modern”.
I think we’ve lost touch with our feelings, because we no longer truly feel our own feelings. The best way to regain a sense of our own self is by opening ourselves up to your feelings. Because, in the end, that’s all you have. And when you lose touch with your feelings and your own self, you can end up feeling a lot more like everyone else. And that’s not a good thing.
